Personal Background
Born in sunny San Diego, California, in May of 1992, Monica's early years were filled with the thrill of competition and athletic achievement. She excelled in competitive dance and cheer, and her talents extended to the athletic fields where she ran track and played varsity basketball and volleyball. As a high school athlete, she became a force to be reckoned with, leading her team to three consecutive volleyball state championships and earning the LHSAA MVP title for her performance in the state championship game during her senior year. Her prowess on the court continued as she played club volleyball, securing second place at the Junior Olympics with her team.

In April 2016, Monica married her high school sweetheart, Taylor Lynch. Taylor, an LSU graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Pre-Med, attended medical school at LSU in New Orleans, where the couple spent their first four years of marriage. They later moved to Jackson, Mississippi, when Taylor was accepted into his medical residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In July 2023, Monica and Taylor relocated to Naples, Florida, where Taylor accepted an attending position in the Emergency Department at Naples Community Hospital. They joyfully welcomed their daughter, Eliza, in September 2023. Monica now resides in Naples, where she continues her dedicated service to The Raymond Collective full-time.
Academic Journey
Monica began her collegiate journey at Southeastern Louisiana University, where she played volleyball during her freshman year and studied English education. Her academic excellence was evident as she made the dean's list all four years of college. After an injury sidelined her athletic career, Monica transferred to Louisiana State University (LSU) to pursue a degree in communications at its prestigious journalism college. She went on to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations, and a double minor in English and Business.
Professional Experience

Monica's professional career began even before she completed her education. While still in college, she worked as a Sales Associate at Ann Taylor, Inc., where she was selected to model for several national campaigns in New York City. After graduating in the Spring of 2014, she accepted a full-time position with New Horizon Church. There, she played a pivotal role in developing the kids' programming, youth ministry, and production teams. Her leadership extended to overseeing staff training, organizing events, and managing the church's marketing efforts. Monica also coordinated city-wide Serve Days with local organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Community Christian Concern.
Monica's talents in branding and marketing were further showcased when she executed the launch and fundraising efforts for The Bridge Radio, including hosting events in prominent venues such as the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. She also contributed significantly to the launch of Lakeside Christian Academy, where she has been a part of the school family since its inception. Monica led all branding and marketing efforts during the 12-month launch process and successfully taught elementary grades during the academy's inaugural year.
Her dedication to her church continued even as life took her to new cities. While living in Mississippi, Monica became a member of Fondren Church where she served with the student ministry, worship ministry and served as a leader for students on a missions trip to Polo, Dominican Republic where the team participated in door-to-door evangelism, serving rice and beans to the community and providing church and city outreach during their time there. While living in Jackson, Mississippi, she launched her own marketing business in 2020 and continued working with New Horizon Church, The Bridge Radio, and Lakeside Christian Academy remotely. Today, Monica resides in Naples, Florida, balancing her professional endeavors while serving The Raymond Collective full-time.
